Chiropractic Care

What is the cost for Chiropractic treatment?

Initial visits at our office are $97.00. The cost for subsequent chiropractic treatments is $63.00.

Does your office use x-rays?

No our office does not offer on-site x-rays. If x-rays are warranted patients are referred to their general practitioner.

What is a scan?

We have state-of-the-art scans that we perform in our office to help measure our patients health status.

  • Heart Rate Variability / Surface Electomyography / Thermography scans look at the state of our patients nervous system, determining our patients ability to deal with stress. This scan costs $50.00.
  • The Orthotic Group – Gait Scan Technology is used to analyze our patient’s’ foot biomechanics to determine if they are a candidate for custom made orthotics.
  • Our kinesiologists also offer a Functional Movement Assessment for $80.00.

How does payment work with your practice?

Do I have to pay upfront and then submit to my extended health benefits?
Patients pay for their services at our office. Patients receive receipts for submission to their extended health care plans for direct reimbursement.

Laser Treatment

How does Laser work?

Laser therapy is the use of monochromic red and infrared light from super luminous LEDs and low intensity laser diodes to treat musculoskeletal injuries, chronic and degenerative conditions and to heal wounds. This Light energy is absorbed by injured soft tissues, and is converted into biochemical energy which the cells use to stimulate the healing process by 60%.

How many Laser treatments will I need?

Depending on the patient’s condition, acute conditions usually respond after 6 treatments and chronic conditions usually require 10 – 20 treatments.

What is the cost for Laser treatment?

The initial visit for a new patient is $97.00. The cost for subsequent laser treatments is based on the length of time the laser is administered over the affected area.

  • Laser 30 minute treatments $69.00
  • Laser 45 minute treatments $100.00
  • Laser 60 minute treatments $132.00

Does extended health care benefits cover Laser?

Yes, Laser therapy treatments may be covered through the Chiropractic portion of your extended health care benefit plan. Light therapy or Laser therapy is within the scope of practice of Chiropractors practicing in BC.
